 RHEOSTATS
Consisting of a layer of superior quality oxidised eureka wire wound on an insulating heat-resistant porcelain tube
which is supported at both ends by cast iron, enamel painted, stain-finish feet. A bakelite sliding contact with laminated phosphor-bronze strips is provided. Three 4 mm socket terminals with captive heads are provided. Each rheostat tested for current carrying capacity. Special feature of our rheostats is that they are manufactured for continuous use without overheating. Tolerance in nominal marked value of resistance is- 5% and + 20%. Given below are a few representative ranges only.

 VAN DE GRAFF GENERATOR
With 220 V, 50 Hz. motor on heavy base with flexible rubber belt arrangement, removable, polished aluminium metal sphere of 165 mm dia. at the top; spherical discharger of 75 mm dia. mounted on an insulating rod drilled at the end to take a 4 mm plug. Gives a spark length of 70 mm approximately. The main metal dome has a socket on top in which different accessories can be attached. One spare belt supplied.
