DESICCATOR
These strong, light weight, easy to-handle, plastic Desiccators permit application of high vacuum retained by a specially designed retention valve. When vacuum release is desired, the valve stopper is rotated to permit gentle entrance of air eliminating possible damage to crucibles. The units have good chemical resistance, and allow use of incandescent crucible with conventional plates or porcelain stands. Will hold a vacuum of 29" Hg. for 24 hours.
Convenient, neatly fitted, removable pan holds Calcium chloride or other drying agents without danger of corrosion. Valve accepts. 5/6" to 3/8" ID tubing. Upper sections are a hemispherical dome of unbreakable transparent polycarbonate. A centre knob permits safe and convenient handling of the upper section.
